WELCOME TO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS FESTIVAL, INC.
This big festival will run from 7:00am on Saturday, July 25th thru 12:30am on Sunday, July 26th at
Baroda American Legion, Post 345
9214 First Street
Please look on our site for what's in store for the day. You'll want to be a part of it, that's for sure! It' a wonderful day of respect, help and fun for our military personnel and you and you family. This is a family event so bring the kids and your Grandparents and the Aunts, Uncles and Cousins! If you're military, wear your uniform! Our community, at large is extremely supportive of our festival and our attendance is into the thousands throughout the day of the festival!
Our mission is to help our enlisted soldiers with needs, soldiers with injuries and / or needs that come home after deployment and our beloved veterans with injuries and / or special needs also. We do this through our strong alliances with other non-profit organizations that give hands-on help and services directly to the above U.S. Service Personnel and / or Veterans.
We are totally committed to helping our U.S. Service Personnel and Veterans. It's been extremely rewarding to see
them smile because of our help. This help can only come from you and others like you that share the same respect and admiration for our U.S. Service Personnel that we have and share.
The festival collects money for any wounded soldier or veteran and any veteran in need. We donate to Non-Profit organizations to fulfill these needs. Some of the organizations we donate to included: Rolling Thunder, Lest We Forget, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Paws with a Cause (for helper dogs for veterans), Blue Star Mothers and Culver Academy Veterans Group.
We'll have a military honor ceremony in the morning with State Dignitaries presenting awards to local Service Personnel and / or veterans for their heroic service, a motorcycle run and show, a custom & classic car, truck / tractor show, a military honor parade, food and local vendors, military displays, helicopter rides, live musical entertainment throughout the day and night (wait until you see who's coming to our festival tis year!), Bill Camps Famous Flying Dog Show (as seen on national TV sporting events), a supervised kids carnival, veterans services booths and organizations, a beer tent, a seven (7) gun raffle, a night dance under the outdoor pavilion and a huge fireworks show at night.
